I created the routes using the 100k pre-installed map as the active map, and the 24k map for my region. Tracks can't receive way point alerts either which is a key feature of this device. When I send a route to the device BaseCamp gives an error each time saying "Routes sent to epix were recalculated because they was created on a map that is not installed on that device." English needs to be updated there a bit was/were but this seems to be where the route breaks down and turns into a severely broken track with direct lines from waypoint to waypoint that span miles which is impossible to cross unless you're flying or hardcore parkour. Waypoints are also not shared, they are always duplicated for each route, however each route is converted to a track which is not usable since it creates straight line paths from way point to way point that even most hikes wouldn't work with. The only way I can delete anything is manually through the watch and with all the duplicated waypoints, this has taken over an hour just manually deleting. Two updates (while BaseCamp said the routes and waypoints were gone) resulted in over 30 way points because I have around 10-15 each route. If I pushed an updated route or route that shares waypoints, I also have duplicates of all my waypoints etc. When I disconnect the device, all is still there. Some of us still like to explore how to best use what's built in even after two years. When in BaseCamp, if I delete items the Epix device internal storage, BaseCamp reflects this while the device is connected including syncs, adds, etc.

Many threads already do that at nauseam and every man and his dog claims better features in their 10yearold Lexmwmercaudorsche and Google Maps is ideal. Please don't turn this thread into one more "OMG ain't it awful" bitching diatribe about Jaguar. So at that time, if you could simply cancel the waypoint (how?) and re-calculate the route, bingo you've gone the way you want, but don't need to get into the location itself. when you get close, you might use a bypass etc.

The "problem" is that by specifying, the route will usually take you through the center of town this may not suit your needs if all you are doing is "forcing" the overall route to go via Waypointtown. When you confirm this address as a waypoint (rather than a destination) the system modifies your route accordingly, showing waypoints 1,2,3 etc. An easy way to do this is to let the system establish a route (in the usual fashion) and then enter a second (or third) address like. ? Well, there are times when you want to "force" a preferred route (for whatever reason). Has anyone found a means (command/button/touch) to cancel/delete a waypoint (while on your way) from an established route (that already contains waypoints) without then starting all over again?
